KHLOW & LAMAR ODOM PAY $7500 A MONTH FOR THIS DALLAS CONDO
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have finally found a place to settle into in Dallas, Texas. The celebrity couple was rumored to have been shopping around for a new home ever since the Los Angeles Lakers shipped the NBA’s 2011 Sixth Man of the Year to the Dallas Mavericks less than a month ago, and the duo has apparently settled on a posh condo at the W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences. According to E! Online, Khloe and Lamar are paying $7,500-a-month to lease the two-bedroom, two-bath dwelling. Owned by Mack Hicks, the son of Texas Rangers owner and Dallas business magnate Tom Hicks, the interior of the condo was designed by Penny Sanders of Sanders Studio and features slate flooring, wet bar, kitchen with Miele appliances, bathrooms tiled in Mother of Pearl and a pool table that will come in handy when Rob Kardashian comes to visit. Building amenities for residents of W Dallas include a pair of fitness centers, Bliss spa, zero-edge infinity pool, private entertainment room and something called a ‘Whatever Whenever’ service.

GUESS HOW MUCH STEVE JOBS REPLACEMENT IS MAKING
This is just an insane amount of money. Guess who’s now worth $400 million. Well, not exactly. Tim Cook, the new CEO of Apple, who replaced Steve Jobs, was given one million shares of Apple stock. That equals upwards of $400 million in stock options. So, while it’s not cash, he’ll be able to pocket half in 2016 and the other half in 2021. As for his actual salary? He’ll earn $900,000. So he’ll be living pretty modestly…ummm…relatively, until he’s able to cash in all of those stocks in a few years. Is there a cooler job in the world than being the CEO of Apple? Well, y’know, besides being a famous basketball player with copious amounts of hoes. So yeah, besides that, he’s got it made.

JAY-Z ANNOUNCED AS NEW INVESTOR AND SPOKESMAN FOR DURACELL POWERMAT
Duracell Powermat is a joint venture between Procter & Gamble’s Duracell brand and Powermat Technologies. Powermat is the outfit behind wireless mats that let consumers charge smartphones and other devices just by laying them on the mats. Powermat’s ultimate vision is to make wireless charging ubiquitous, an ecosystem similar to the placement of Wi-Fi hotspots. “You will be able to enjoy wireless power wherever you go, at a coffee shop, restaurant, or airport,” says Ron Rabinowitz, CEO of the joint venture. Adds Powermat Technologies CEO Ron Poliakine,”Our mission is to populate the universe with access points in any surface surrounding us in a way that you, as a user, will forget that you even have a battery in your devices.” Last year, for example, Powermat struck a deal with General Motors to bring wireless charging to the Chevy Volt. At the Consumer Electronics Show here, the company announced a partnership with New York’s Madison Square Garden. Fans attending a concert this summer or watching a Knicks basketball game or Rangers hockey match next season will be able to plunk their phones down on wireless mats at various locations in the arena. “As someone who spends almost 200 nights a year in venues, I’m thrilled,” says Scott O’Neil, president of Madison Square Garden Sports. “So many of our fans are downloading photos (during games) and engaging in social platforms. (That’s) a suck on the battery.” This is definitely a comeup for Hov and Duracell in their attempt to get a younger demographic looking at their product. Other companies compete with Powermat in the wireless power space, but getting Jay-Z on board would appear to be a major marketing boost for Duracell Powermat. “I believe in the future of wireless energy,” Jay-Z says. This isn’t the typical product that we would look for Mr. Carter to endorse, but then again Jigga doesn’t do “typical”. Only time will tell if Hov can do for Duracell what he did with throwback jerseys, Range Rovers, button-up shirts, Maybachs, Cristal, Yan
